Restoration

Victorian Terrace Restoration

Full restoration of a mid-Victorian terraced house, preserving original period features while bringing the property up to modern living standards.

Residential

$27,000 USD

Completed in 4 Months

Problem

Decades of DIY alterations had damaged the home's original features. Cornicing, skirting boards, and original floorboards had been covered or removed, and the façade masonry showed significant weathering and cracking.

Our Approach

Our team carefully stripped back later additions to reveal and restore original features wherever possible. Lime mortar repointing was used on the exterior, period-appropriate joinery was reinstated, and original floorboards were salvaged, repaired, and refinished.

Solution

The property was returned to its original character without compromising on modern comfort. The client was delighted with the result, and the home has since been listed as a local example of quality period restoration.
